This story is about 3D Televisions. According to the article the ichief executive of Sony sir Howard Stinger anticipated that 3D televisions will be available to people's homes. Though the statement was made with such influencial figure of technology, there were certain disagreements. Firstly Dan sherwood said "Having just upgraded my TV for digital and everything I'm probably not looking to upgrade again just for 3D.
"My view of 3D is those strange little coloured glasses. As for whether or not it'll catch on? Probably not." this is also backed by two failed attempts in the 1950s and the 1980s. However beside the disagreements, the chief executive of Sony still believes that it will happen.
